About the free packaging planner
What you enter
Upload an STL file of one part, or choose a simple part shape and enter its dimensions. Then enter the total project quantity, the project duration and the part mass. Further inputs set the planning goal, the part protection, the handling at the line and the transport lane. Each of them has a default.
What the result shows
The plan shows the part packed in a VDA 4500 KLT, the load units on EPAL pallets, a financial forecast and a yearly purchasing plan. For four planning assumptions, the Jev AI model chooses among checked options. You can change each choice. Each decision names its source, for example your input, a datasheet or Jev.
Limits
The planner places each part as its bounding box. Shape-aware packing is a controlled test in the platform, not in this planner. Each load unit stays within the KLT top load and a 1,500 kg pallet load. The planner does not plan truck or trailer floor loads. Prices need supplier confirmation. The forecast excludes freight, washing, handling and maintenance costs.
